Me: I asked you this before...
Me: you said we have to go to the building to get the water turned on.....did you call that number Frank gave you?
Kory: yeah it was the water plant where they make water
Me: and what did they say?
Kory: we don't do that here, we make the water
Kory: and then they gave me the right number*
Kory: and we talked about birds
Me: and did you call that number?
Kory: yes and we have to go to the place
Kory: just like when I called before
Kory: do you not trust me?
As if calling on the phone for other utilities isn't a big enough pain, now you actually have to go somewhere to get water transferred into your name! Luckily Kory has nothing to do during the day so he rode his bike up to talk to them. Apparently since we won't have a phone line they have to come put something extra in? This makes no sense to me, but once again it is a huge annoyance, because now someone has to be at the house on the 6th for when they come.
So after hearing "Our first open representative will be with you in approximately 45 minutes to one hour and 5 minutes," and trying to be talked into special deals for dazzling digital cable, everything is set to go. Now we just have to finish packing!
* Three of the five numbers that Frank gave us were the wrong numbers!
