Such A Cute Face

Jake is a pup that Kory and I found driving home the other day. He ran right up to the car when we pulled over, and was such a friendly dog. As we suspected, he didn’t have any tags on. I sat with him in the car while Kory walked around the neighborhood and asked people if they knew anything about him. No one did of course. So we decided to take him home and planned on making signs to hang up the next day. When we brought him home he did really well with our pups. He isn’t neutered, so we were afraid he was going to be mounting everything in sight, but he was actually pretty good. He knew commands, so if he started up, you could just say no and he would sit down. But anyway, we called the police the next day to see if anyone had reported a missing dog, and they gave us a number for someone whose dog sounded similar. So Kory called it, and it turned out to be the owners! I’m so happy now that we picked him up. He just ran right out into the busy road, he could have easily been run over. Not to mention that he was quite dirty and needed a brushing big time! So at least he got groomed and spoiled while he was on his little vacation.
