well the dana schutz lecture was not put on by the curators but by second rate tour guides/volunteers, it was a waste of time. but, what is not a waste of time when it comes to art.
so as usual i did not vote but i have never really been involved in politics. do not get me wrong, i have always been one with a big mouth (which happens to be the perfect size for my foot). i can go on and on and on about this or that, but the idea of who is fulfilling what role in the political structure has never really been part of the discussion. maybe that has always been a bit practical for me, a bit too down to earth. i am a head in the clouds, feet off the ground kind of guy. if it does not seem impossible, than is it really worth talking about. either way after reading andy’s page looks like everything i would have voted for passed.
also when i was walking to school yesterday some girl yelled out of her car “don’t cry emo boy” and it just happened to be that my eyes were watering because of the wind and i was wiping them with my hand, which could appear as if i was crying. would she have yelled that if i had not looked like i was crying? did she even notice me wiping my eyes? and can she not tell the differences between an emo boy and a three hundred and ninety nine year old art student and that the proper belittlement would have been “no crying over you spilled paint art fag”. kent hecklers have no skill. i give her some credit for at least yelling something; normally it is just a honk and a finger. back in lorain the hecklers were always relevant and if you were lucky they would throw something at you. not here in kent but hey, what can you expect from college students?

It's funny when those who stereotype are the most stereotypical.

Hey, do you and Amy want to go bowling? We have an e-mail for a free game in Kent that we can send to your respective e-mails. Bowling is fun and doesn't involve work or school. You should definitely consider it.
