bang and shake

yesterday, amy and i worked on are living room floor, it is turning out to be beautiful, we also watched the north-east sky for meteors but saw none.
a few days back atrayou left us for good, he had a seizure and it never stopped until his heart did. we sat on the floor with him in the i.c.u. room at the animal clinic and i pumped the last few breaths into his lungs until the vet injected him with a lethal dose of neon pink anesthesia. then a few gasps and he was still. we elected to have common cremation, it would have been an extra hundred dollars to have the ashes returned to us. i think it is silly to keep the remains whether it be dog or human but if i where rich maybe i would think differently. maybe if i was rich i could have paid for a m.r.i. and a craniotomy to be done and maybe that wouldn't have helped either. but thats a what if and not worth thinking about.
i am going to miss how he didn't forget about us when we took him to the dog park, always good enough to come check in on us and how he loved a good established path, the sidewalk was the place to walk and he wasn't going to have any of this walking in the middle of the road or on the grass. he was an excellent snuggler and now he is gone.
